Indeco was founded in 1976, with the aim of becoming a leading brand in the global demolition sector.
In 1980, the first HB series breakers quickly made a name for themselves, thanks to their great productivity and reliability. In 1986, Indeco patented the world's first "intelligent breaker" - able to modulate its frequency and energy per blow according to the hardness of the rock.
In 1996, Indeco won the "Samoter International Prize" in the machine manufacturers category for its excellent achievements in conquering foreign markets and in technological innovation.
In 2003, expansion of the product portfolio began with its range of IFP and IRP fixed and rotary pulverizers, followed up by lines such as the "Multi" multifunctional tools, IHC compactors, and the ISS range of shears.
The new series of HP High Performance breakers, which came out in 2004, introduced key innovations with a new design, the use of new materials and a reduction in noise emissions. The range of Indeco breakers is now the most extensive in the world, with 20 models providing up to 50 different combinations ranging from the tiny HP 150 to the gigantic HP 18000, the biggest hydraulic breaker in the world.
Indeco has built its success on a winning combination of technological innovation together with an ever-larger sales network. A market leader in Italy, with a market share of around 30%, Indeco can also count on stable and lasting partnerships in much of Europe, in particular France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, and the United Kingdom, with its subsidiary Indeco UK. The American market is run by Indeco North America which was set up in 1990 and covers the whole of the USA, Canada and Central America.
Indeco Australia, established in 1993, is the continent’s market leader with a share of over 30%. Other important markets include Brazil, Argentina and countries throughout Central and South America. Indeco have established a strong market presence in Eastern Europe including Russia, where Indeco has its own direct sales outlet. On all of the other emerging markets, the Far East and Africa, many larger infrastructure projects have been using Indeco maxi-range breakers.
