A 12000 in the heart of Manhattan

An Indeco breaker is digging the foundations of the new Bank of America building on Sixth Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets.

Fifty-four floors high, the skyscraper that will house the new headquarters of Bank of America will is one of the largest excavation and foundation projects in New York. Already a focus of the media before construction began, the new building owes its fame to the many technological innovations that will serve to reduce the environmental impact and to state-of-the-art architectural details, such as the hanging garden created in the roof.

Indeco breakers in São Paulo, Brasil

An Indeco HP 3000 and a UP 3000, each mounted on a Volvo EC240BLC demolishing a building and digging the foundations for a new civic centre in the Brazilian city of São Paulo.
It took 4 months to complete the job of demolishing the concrete structure and excavating the sandstone rock, achieving breaker productivity of around 50 m3/hr.
